The Seven Tenets of Tang Soo Do

The Seven Tenets are of central importance in Tang Soo Do training.  These words help us guide our training, as well as how we conduct ourselves both inside and outside the studio.

Tenet Meaning
To conduct ourselves with sincerity and honesty.
To focus ourselves on what we are doing.
To push ourselves to our maximum potential.
Respect and Obedience
To Respect towards each other, to honour our elders and instructors.
Self Control
To protect each other when training, working and living together.
To be humble in every aspect of our life.
Indomitable Spirit
To be resolute in our training, as well as in other parts of our life.
